H2O are a succesesful and progressive Learn to Swim provider with over 30 years in the industry.  We have been situated at Lauriston Girls' School in Armadale since 1989 and are excited to announce that we are beginning operations at the $16m Handbury Center for Wellbeing at Geelong Grammar School in Corio.  This is an exciting oportunity for teachers to get in on the ground level of our new venture at this state of the art venue.

We currently have shifts available on Saturday afternoon 1pm to 4pm and Sunday 11am to 3pm at Lauriston Girls' School Armadale and on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons between 4pm and 7pm as well as Saturday from 1pm onward at Geelong Grammar School.  More shifts will become available as the business expands.

RECEPTIONIST

 We require the services of a casual receptionist for weekend work at Lauriston Girls' School in Armadale during the school term.  Note we are NOT open on Long Weekends or during school holidays.  The person we are seeking will be

Hours may vary but are usually Saturday 12.30pm - 5pm and Sunday 10.45 - 3.30pm

This position would be ideal for a local retiree or semi retired person who wishes to undertake some casual work. Experience in the swimming industry is not necessary but would be an advantage, as is a love of swimming. It could lead to a few additional hours during the week in the office doing some follow up.

 

SWIM TEACHERS 

 If you are a motivated and energetic person with plenty of personality, great communication skills and a love of both children and swimming, we would like you to join our team of dedicated teachers.  We require as a minimum, an Austswim or Swim Australia certificate.   A Current CPR Certificate and Working With Children's check is also necessary.   All new recruits undergo in-house training which consists of mentored teaching assisted by our teaching supervisor, and all staff are expected to attend our staff workshops and updates.  Further professional development is encouraged and we have a unique self paced learning system available to increase take-home pay.  

Teachers with a background in competitive swimming and a possible interest in coaching are preferred but not essential.  While our teaching positions are part time, they could easily lead to a more permanent job and more hours for the right person.

Reliability is highly valued along with flexibility, a willingness to learn and ability to take direction.
